You may have to use your imagination but here he is!
This is the wolf I made for the Little Red Riding Hood setting in the "Once Upon a Wall ... " Quilt Show coming up on June 17, 18 & 19 at the Mennonite Heritage & Agricultural Museum in Goessel, Kansas.
This year, the show will feature quilted wall hangings hung in fairy tale settings.
I have more work to do on Wolfie and the rest of the Little Red Riding Hood set but wanted to share him with you. If you can't guess where we are in the story, the big bad wolf has scared off Little Red Riding Hood's grannie and has donned her nightie and night cap to wait for Little Red Riding Hood. By the way, he does have two eyes but unfortunately the angle I took the photo at makes him look like he has only one eye.
How do you like his reading material?

It turned out great! You did such a good job. I love the book he is reading too, that's so cute!
LOL!!! Very creative Mayleen, I love it!!! Very cute and I'm sure your scene will generate lots of interest from both adults and children alike! I hope you post another photo of the whole scene!!!
Wow, Mom---waiting to see it in real life...
This is a very interesting project! You're too clever, giving him a book like that. What fun!
Oh, you made my morning!
I love your wolfie!! and his book choice is perfect. How did you make the wolf? we need details.
Poor wolfie - such reading material - he would rather be reading recipes. You are so talented and creative.
Hugs - Marie
He's terrific! He would be creepy if you'd used taxidermy-quality eyes but as it is, he's not so scary. Love his choice of reading material, I was giggling over it before I got to your text!
