For the past few days, I've been working on adding a dog and cat to my Phebe quilt. Here is Henry with the dog which I think is looking fairly good. This is the first time I've appliqued a dog or cat. I've got to fix that wrinkle across Henry's face though!
And here's Phoebe with her cat which still has a few issues but at least she's no longer sitting on the sheep's head! I need to make the cat's eyes more visible.
Until next time, Mayleen

I can't believe you haven't named the cat and dog yet! They are both wonderful - great fabric choice for a tortoise shell cat! I think Henry has a wrinkle because he is prematurely aged from taking care of the sheep family.
You are not really going to call them Fido and Fluffy?
Wow, great job on the little animals. I can't believe how lifelike they are. Simply wonderful.
Your dog and cat are so cute and had so much to this already wonderful project!
I think Fido and Fluffy are pretty gorgeous! You are going to have a truly beautiful quilt when you are finished, I love it!
This intricacy of this appliqué is astounding, Mayleen! You're doing such a lovely job. I'm guessing this will be one you hand quilt too. I see blue ribbons in your future!
