Dissecting

When things aren't turning out like I'm hoping, I sometimes step away and work on other projects for awhile. That's what I'm doing today.

These are strips leftover from another project which I'm dissecting.

... and cutting into smaller pieces to ...
make into Pumpkin Peel!

What a frugal trooper you are! There's no waste of fabric at your house, is there? I think I'd be doing the same thing. Good for you. I hope your Pumpkin Peel turns out great for all that extra effort.

I too love to "use up" or "repurpose" anything! And since most fabrics were my choice purchase at one time I can't bear to throw out a single bit, unless it is just a bit too small for even a flying geese paper pieced bookmark(those are 1"x 1 1/2")!!lol Good Luck with the pumpkin peel, I look forward to seeing it come to life in your creative hands!
