Whenever I try to do that, I find new things to look at in the book and couldn't possibly part with it! Once you manage to clear a shelf or two, always hard to do with books. Maybe you will just have to be ruthless,, and perhaps donate some toma sewing group or somewhere similar?Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13596754983215564299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4841236421301956892.post-19429876428032914692021-01-09T22:10:28.216-06:002021-01-09T22:10:28.216-06:00I have a weakness for books, too. Best of luck culling an entire shelf of them.
I went through magazines before our last move and found that I could only part with ONE!

I've never heard of that foot for the Janome. Which model to you own? Nice job on sewing up that PINK quilt top! I sure could use the space, and the $ along with disbursing a bunch of other things I've been hanging on to! Love that cabinet! If they are in pristine condition your local library might like to build up their arts/crafts section, after the pandemic is over or whenever they are ready to receive them. I give older ones to Goodwill. I also donated about 30 to my local quilt guild's library. This is a time where I think mine will go in a box marked quilt books to donate and hope that there is a place to donate to soon.Exuberantcolor/Wanda S Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00064308660138307797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4841236421301956892.post-181876274739319972021-01-09T09:10:33.120-06:002021-01-09T09:10:33.120-06:00Every time I sort books, I usually end up putting ...Every time I sort books, I usually end up putting them back on the shelf. Sorted in better order, but still there. And that is probably the last I'll look at them until next time I try to thin the herd. :-/ Worse is it's not just the quilting books, there's the sewing, needlework, knitting, crochet (sensing a theme there?), gardening, and cook books.JustGailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08948391538309176039noreply@blogger.com
